System Information Block Type 9 in LTE

·         SIB 9 is associated with home eNodeB.

·         Home eNodeB provide services to Closed Subscriber Group (CSG).

·         Home eNodeB name is coded using UTF-8 to provide flexibility for using different language .it allows a maximum of 48 characters when coded using 1 byte per character, 24 characters when coded using 2 byte per character.

·         Home eNodeB B name helps the subscriber to choose the correct CSG Identity when performing a manual selection.
