System Information Block Type 10 in LTE

·         SIB 10 provide support for the Earthquake and tsunami warning system (ETWS).ETWS is an example of a public warning system (PWS).

·         ETWS warning notification can be either primary (short notification delivered within 4 second) or secondary(more detailed information)

·         SIB10 broadcast primary information where SIB 11 broadcast secondary information.

·         LTE radio access network perform scheduling and broadcasting of the warning message content received from Cell broadest centre .The content is received from CBC via the MME .LTE is responsible for paging UE to inform them that a warning notification is being broadcast.

·         The message identifier is 16 bit s string which define the type of ETWS notification

·         Serial number it is  a string of 16 bit used to track my changes in ETWS notification

·         Warning type inform which type of warning tsunami, earthquake, it also include user alert and popup information.

·         Warning security information is optional and is only included when security is applied.
